Users (“you”, “your”, “user”) include private sellers, real estate agents, real estate agencies, and property seekers.
By registering on ListingLord, posting a property, or using our platform in any capacity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:

Possess the legal authority to enter into binding agreements;

Use the platform in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to list properties or access certain features. You agree to:

ListingLord reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Listings and Content
4.1 Who Can List:
The following user types can create property listings:

Licensed real estate agents;

Registered real estate agencies;
-
Verified private sellers (individuals).
4.2 Listing Guidelines:
When creating a listing, you must:

Ensure all property details are accurate, up-to-date, and not misleading;
-
Include only photos you have the rights to use;
-
Avoid false advertising, price manipulation, or duplicate listings;
-
Select the correct category (sale or rental) and location.
We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these guidelines, is fraudulent, or harms the integrity of the platform.
5. Payments and Fees
5.1 Pay-Per-Listing:

All property listings are subject to a fee. The applicable pricing is displayed on the platform before you publish a listing.

Payment must be made upfront through our approved payment gateways.

Your listing will be live only after payment is confirmed.
5.2 Refund Policy:

Non-refundable: Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing is published, regardless of early removal, user dissatisfaction, or property sale.

In the event of a system error or duplicate billing, users may contact support for a review.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:

Post false, harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content;

Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity;
-
Circumvent fees, share accounts, or abuse promotions;
-
Use ListingLord for unlawful or malicious purposes.
Violations may result in account suspension, listing removal, legal action, or permanent banning.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on ListingLord, including logos, graphics, databases, and technology, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without written permission.
You retain ownership of your uploaded content (e.g., property photos, descriptions) but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote it on our platform and affiliated channels.
8. Platform Availability and Modifications
We strive to maintain uninterrupted service but do not guarantee constant availability. We reserve the right to:

Update or modify platform features;

Suspend access for maintenance or upgrades;

Discontinue or add new services at any time.
We are not liable for any losses incurred due to service interruptions.
9. Third-Party Links
ListingLord may include links to external websites. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content or practices of these third-party platforms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Listinglord provides the platform “as is” and makes no warranties regarding:

The accuracy or reliability of listings;

The outcome of property transactions;

User behavior or authenticity.
All transactions are conducted at your own risk. We strongly encourage due diligence and proper verification before engaging with buyers or sellers.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ListingLord shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

Platform use or inability to access;

Disputes between users;
-
Errors or inaccuracies in listings.
Our total liability in any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for services during the last 6 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless listinglord, its employees, partners, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or legal fees arising from your:

Breach of these Terms;

Violation of third-party rights;

Misuse of the platform.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you violate these Terms. You may also close your account at any time. Listings will be removed upon account deletion.
14. Changes to These Terms
Listinglord reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Jurisdiction.
